How ironic is this, I kill two people and I am on going to receive the death penalty. I then accept a plea bargin which allows me to live the rest of my life in prison rather than be killed. That is the case in this article. This guy kills his fourteen year old girfriend's parents and she gets in the car and leaves with him. The girl witness this happen and did nothing. My question is why isn't she being prosecuted as well?

I don't understand how after pleading guilty to murdering two people that Ludwig only got sentenced to life in prison. Why would that be considered a plea deal? That should be automatic death penalty. I have never understood our judical system and I don't think I ever will after reading this article.

Ludwig's atty's may have gotten a plea deal for Ludwig due to his age and probably used Ludwig's mental state when he acted for his defense. The daughter probably was not prosecuted due to her mental state as well. She was probably in shock when the murders occured and may have made a irrational decision at that time. And were the murders pre-meditated?

That is very ironic. She witnessed everything and did nothing. She is also guilty and should recieve some kind of punishment. This is just like cases of child abuse. When a child is abused and the witness is watching but does nothing, they are charged. Why is this girl free to go when it is the exact same scenario?

I think that Ludwig is old enough to know what he was doing. He is not considered a minor in the eyes of the law anymore. As for the daughter, I really do not understand how she could have got in the car with him. She needs some form of punishment. This is truly a tragedy.
